Abstract:
Pot experiments was conducted to investigate the biomass, selenium( Se) accumulation and photosynthetic pigments of Medicago sativa L. under selenium stress( 0,100,900 μmol / L). After 60 days of Se exposure, the results was indicated that the contents of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,total chlorophyll, carotenoids, selenium accumulation and biomass were gradually increased with the addition of Se in the leaves of Medicago sativa L.,compared to the control. Thus,it was concluded that Medicago sativa L.had high selenium resistance.
