Abstract:
The changes of postharvest physiological indexes of sweet cherry ( cv. Labinsi) under controlled atmosphere with different CO2 concentrations were mainly discussed. Sweet cherry were stored under three different concentrations (5% O2+5% CO2, 5% O2+8% CO2, 5% O2+10% CO2) at (4 ±1) ℃. During the storage respiratory intensity, hardness, ethylene, MDA, PPO, POD, PAL were analyzed. The results showed that treatments with high CO2 concentrations could reduce the respiration intensity of postharvest sweet cherry, inhibit MDA content and PPO activity, increase POD, PAL activity, significantly reduce the rot rate and browning indices, treatment of 5% O2+8% CO2, was the optimal group.
