Abstract:
Effect of spraying different concentrations of Na2SeO3 solution during the fruit development stages of 'hongyang' kiwi on fruit quality, selenium contents and selenium forms in different tissues were studied. The results showed that single fruit weight and titration acid content in fruits were not obviously affected by selenium, while soluble solids content in fruit was increased significantly. At the same time, both contents of total selenium and organic selenium in pulp, peel, seed and leaf were efficiently increased by the exogenous selenite.Furthermore, the treated effects with higher selenium concentrations were better than those with lower selenium concentrations in the study. Moreover, in addition to peel, the best spaying date was found on May 30th.
