Abstract:
Soy isoflavone belongs to flavonoids and widely distributed in the bean pods plants. Epidemiological studies have shown that soy isoflavones can exert the function of anti- prostate cancer, which is related to inducing apoptosis and inhibiting growth proliferation of PCa cells, enhancing radio and chemotherapeutic agents, regulating of DNA repair and methylation and antagonism of androgen- mediated signaling pathways. In this paper, the research of soy isoflavones against prostate cancer and the underlying mechanism was summarized.
